Here at Slingsby, we love Christmas and believe that there isn’t much better than a cocktail to enjoy either solo or with your loved ones during the festive season.

Therefore, let us introduce our wide selection of Christmas cocktails created by our amazing mixologists. All of these cocktails have a special Slingsby Christmas twist using our original London Dry Gin, award-winning Rhubarb Gin, citrus Marmalade Gin, fruity Gooseberry Gin, classic Old Tom Gin and smooth Navy Strength Gin. There really is something for every palette! So whether you’re hosting during the festivities or enjoying some downtime on your own, check out our recipes below…

After Dinner Martini
30ml Slingsby London Dry
10ml Crème de Menthe
10ml Crème de Cacao
100ml Single Cream
Egg Whites
Garnish: Cinnamon Dusting
Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Hard shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain liquid from ice and shake again until a good foam develops then pour into a chilled Martini glass.

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice
50ml Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
15ml Pumpkin Spice Syrup
60ml Pineapple Juice
10ml Lime Juice
Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake hard until thoroughly chilled. Strain liquid from ice and shake again until a good foam develops. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Rhubarbtini
40ml Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
5ml Maraschino
25ml Sweet Vermouth
10ml Sugar Syrup
2 dashes of Orange Bitters
Garnish: Orange Twist
Method: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with cubed ice. Stir until appropriately diluted and strain into a Martini glass.

Apple Fall Spritz
30ml London Dry
10ml Crème de Menthe
10ml Crème de Cacao
100ml Single Cream
Egg Whites
Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Hard shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain liquid from ice and shake without ice until a good foam develops.

Mulled Marmalade
25ml Slingsby Marmalade Gin
70ml Quality Cider
20ml Lemon Juice
Cinnamon Stick
Cloves
Nutmeg
Star Anise
Garnish: Orange Wheel
Method: Combine  ingredients into a glass and top up with boiled water. To create a batch, combine ingredients into a ban, add water and heat until the flavour is reached.

Winter Spritz
20ml Slingsby Old Tom
10ml Lemon Juice
10ml Sugar Syrup
5 Crushed Blackberries
Prosecco
Method: Combine the gin, lemon juice & sugar syrup into a glass with cubed ice. Stir until diluted. Add prosecco into the stirring glass and strain into a flute. Separately, crush some blackberries in a bowl and strain into the flute to create a slow bleed through the drink.

Apple Pie Sour
50ml Slingsby Gooseberry Gin
50ml Apple Juice
15ml Cinnamon Syrup
20ml Lemon Juice
2 dashes of Orange Bitters
Garnish: Mixed Spice Dusting
Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Hard shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain liquid and shake again before pouring over cubed ice.

Christmas Highball
50ml Slingsby Marmalade Gin
10ml Vanilla Syrup
10ml Cinnamon Syrup
25ml Lemon Juice
Top with Ginger Ale or Spiced Orange FT Ginger Ale
Method: Combine all ingredients into a glass with cubed ice. Top up with ginger ale and lift ice to ensure the ingredients properly mix. Garnish with an orange wedge.

Naval Sour
30ml Slingsby Navy Strength Gin
25ml Lemon Juice
15ml Sugar Syrup
30ml Egg Whites
20m Port
Method: Combine all the ingredients together aside from the port. Shake vigorously with ice before straining the liquid into an empty cocktail tin. Add the port then shake once more without ice before double straining into a tumbler with cubed ice.
